- Wang Family Courtyard (1.5 hours): The Wang Family Residence is located in the northernmost part of Jingsheng Village in Lingshi County, Shanxi Province. It is 150 kilometers south of Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi, and 12 kilometers from the county seat. Facing south and occupying a higher ground, the compound overlooks a vast horizon.
- Shuanglin Temple (1 hour): It is located in Qiaotou village, six miles southwest of the Ancient City of Pingyao.“A real, unique treasure!”
- Pingyao Ancient Town: In the middle of Shanxi Province, this is the best-preserved of the four ancient towns in China. Inside the intact Ming Dynasty city wall this traditional town, whose buildings date from the Ming and Qing Dynasties, is exceptionally well-preserved, and just as it was centuries ago. Bikes can be rented for about 10 yuan/hour. You can also learn the traditional Chinese art of paper-cut, producing beautiful shapes and designs from paper in the Wentao Paper-cut shop, and lean how lacquerwork is done in Yonglong Shop.

Detailed Itinerary: Pingyao International Photography Festival” established in 2001 has been successfully held for five times. This exhibition has attracted thousands of photography works of master photographers from over ten countries. This festival combines China and foreign countries, history and modern times, arts and economy by broadening the theme of photography works and enriching its contents. The festival is not only a successful sample of international communication of inland provinces in China, but also contributions to the photography arts.
