Victoria Harbor

As the main harbor of Hong Kong, there are blue sky, clean sea, fantastic mountains and charming natural scenes.

Its waters cover 59sq.km and it is width ranging from 12,000 to 9500 meters, so large that ships can anchor here. In Victoria Harbor, there are 3 main waterways serving as gates to Hong Kong, 72
berths for ocean ships, and 43 of them can be used by large-scaled ship with a length of 183 meters. The total length of developed ports and cargo handling area is 7,000 meters and it takes only dozens of hours for port entry and exit. Its efficiency ranks the first in the world.
The night scene of Victoria Harbor is one of the most charming night scenes in the world and the best viewing spot is the narrowest point of Victoria Harbor where the sea surface is only 1km between Tsim Sha Tsul of Kowloon and Midwest district of Hong Kong Island. You can enjoy the view on the other site on Tsim Sha Tsul beach or have a bird's eye view on the Victoria Peak which is better. Standing at the Peak Tower and Lion Kiosk of Victoria Peak, a panoramic view of the harbor is at your foot.If you have enough time in the harbor, you can take Star Ferry's Harbor Tour. The Shining Star Ferry which was designed at the imitation of the Star Ferry built in 1920 will depart at Star Port of Tsim Sha Tsul and tour around the Victoria Harbor. The whole journey will take you about an hour and the price varies according to time (day or night) and distance.
