Wong Tai Sin Temple

The Wong Tai Sin Temple is extremely popular among the
local residents. Built in 1921, it is worshiped by those trying to pray for happiness, wealth or a smooth life.
Prayers usually worship the god and pray in front of the palace. During the Spring Festival and holidays, numerous believers flock to this temple to wish for good health and good prosperity. Beside the temple, there is a small smartly designed garden, refine and exquisite. And the Kowloon wall near it was built at the imitation of the Forbidden City in Beijing.
Near the temple, there is the famous Chilin Nunnery, a complex building imitated the architectures of Tang dynasty.
Geographical position: It is at the foot of Mount Kowloon.
How to get there: Walk outside the ExitB2 of Wong Tai Sin Station and continue for about three minutes, visitor can arrive at Wong Tai Sin Temple.
Opening time: 07:00 to 17:30
Recommended time for a visit: A whole morning or one or two hours.
