The weather in Dalian is very pleasant. There are no extremely hot summers or cold winters. The average temperature in Dalian is about 10 C.

Late May to middle September is the peak travel season in Dalian when scenery is most beautiful and weather most pleasant but it's a bit crowded everywhere. Although the sea scenery is not so good as other seasons, Dalian's winter is also fabulous with many small delights such as firecracker festival, lantern shows.
