Opened in 1984 and refurbished in 2007, the 5-star international Xiyuan Hotel is a showcase of sophisticated modern elegance and Chinese landscape. This is the largest business hotel and its courtyard is about 80,000 square meter and great area is about 20,000 square meter. It is a distinguished landmark in northwest Beijing located in the Haidian district near the University area and Zhongguancun Hi-Tech industry area. The Xiyuan Hotel is close to the Beijing Exhibition Center and next to the Beijing New Centry Hotel. It is also close to the Ministry of State Planning Committee, Finance and Construction Ministries, adjacent to the Government Negotiation Centre. It is just a 15 minute drive away from the city center. Simultaneously, the Xiyuan Hotel is on the main thoroughfare as the Summer Palace and Fragrant Hill, which makes it very convenient for both business and recreational travellers alike.
