You will be picked up from your hotel at about 8:30am by your guide who will accompany you on your one day tour. Cuandixia Village is located in the west about 90 kilometers/55miles – three hours drive from downtown Beijing. It's been well preserved place with over 600 Ming and Qing dynasty-style houses housing 70 families. Everything is original. The local people will welcome you into their houses. A simple lunch is at a local restaurant. After lunch, hike on the mountains nearby and listen to the stories told by the old people and visit a temple in the village. After the tour, you'll be transferred to your hotel in downtown Beijing.
