You will be picked up from your hotel at about 8:30am by your guide who will accompany you on your one day tour. Then head for Cuandixia Village. The village is located in the west area of Mengtougou District about 90 kilometers/55miles away from downtown Beijing. It's been well preserved place with over 600 Ming and Qing dynasty-style houses housed by 70 families. All of things show their original appearance. After about 3 hours' drive, have a short rest and fresh up before touring around the ancient village. You may enter the houses of the locals. Then get to a local restaurant to have a simple farm lunch. After lunch, hike on the mountains nearby, listen to the stories given by the aged and visit a temple in the village. After the tour, you'll be transferred back to your hotel in downtown Beijing.
