Beijing Forbidden City Muslim Tour

Beijing Forbidden City Muslim Tour

You will be picked up at your hotel at 08:30am to drive to the Forbidden City. Forbidden City is the Imperial Palace, home to 24 Emperors between 1420 and 1911. Great squares, halls and gates contrast with the intricate networks of side halls, gardens, courtyards and quarters for those who lived in this 'city within a city'. Tian'anmen Square is the largest city square in the centre of Beijing. It has great cultural significance as it was the site of several key events in Chinese history. Your lunch will be at a Islamic restaurant that serves Halal food. After lunch, visit the oldest and largest mosque in Beijing - Niujie Mosque. It is located in Xuanwu District and is the spiritual centre for the 10,000 Muslims living in this area. You will have change to visit a pearl store and wonder around Wangfujing Street. Halal dinner is included. You will be returned to your hotel after the tour.
