Tour Summary: Pick you up at your hotel lobby at 13:00 and head for Jiankou Great Wall. Jiankou Great Wall is located 73 kilometres north from Beijing city, taking 2 hours drive.


Jiankou Great Wall connects with Mutianyu Great Wall to the east, and Huanghuacheng Great Wall to the west. Jiankou Great Wall is constructed of large white hill rocks which makes it very noticeable from a distance. The major section of this Great Wall is built along a mountain ridge with large cliffs on each side, and due to the lack of repairs, it is now one of the most dangerous sections of the entire Great Wall. Hike along Jiankou Great Wall for 2-3 hours. Overnight camping on the open ground of farm houses near the Great Wall. We offer tents, mats, sleeping bags and fashlights. If weather does not permit, overnight stay at farm houses near the Great Wall.


Wake up at around 04:00am to catch the sunrise (weather permits)and take photos.


Return back to Beijing city by noon.
