You will be picked up from hotel and being transferred to the White Pagoda Temple. Located inside the Fucheng Gate in Beijing, the White Pagoda Temple was built in 1096 during the Liao Dynasty. According to historical accounts, the first pagoda, built during the Liao Dynasty, contained Buddhist relics, rosaries, stupas made of fragrant clay, Dharani scriptures, and other objects. In 1271 the pagoda was destroyed by Emperor Shizu of the Yuan Dynasty and a new Lamaism pagoda built on a much larger scale was erected. After visiting the temple, continue to the surrounding Hutong area. There are many photo opportunities in this area such which include the red wall, white pagoda, stone engraving etc. The tour will be end with a coffee break in a Hutong café and you will be transferred to your hotel.
