Pick you up from your hotel in Beijing around 9:00am and transfer to the Yushengtang Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum. Upon arrival, you will firstly be arranged a tour to a very rich collection of ancient Chinese medical instrument, then meeting with an old doctor for a briefing of traditional Chinese medical science. Then you will be shown to a therapy room for an experience of Chinese acupuncture and tuina. They will make a brief introduction to the practices of acupuncture, Chinese herbology and measures to protect the health. Afterwards, visit one of the medical wards and see how Chinese doctors treat the patients by using acupuncture. Then go to the Pharmacy Department and Out Patient Department to see how Chinese doctors make the medicine and making registration for the patients. After lunch, you will be transferred to a world famous Chinese pharmacy named Tongrentang Pharmacy which was first set up in 1669. It was the designated brand of health care for imperial court in Qing dynasty( 1644 - 1911). Now it has a history of over 300 years. Continue your tour to visit Hutong alleys to experience the charm of old Beijing. You will return to your hotel after the tour.
