The Chengdu Flower Fair is held on the fifth of February of lunar month every year. The Flower Fair for 2008 falls on 12, Mar. On the day you will be picked up from your hotel at about 8:30am by your guide who will accompany you on your one day tour. Then head for People's Park to appreciate a wide variety of flowers. All the flower nursery holders near Chengdu will take their rare flowers, potted flowers and potted landscapes to the fair to sell them. Besides some traditional celebrations, there are some other celebrations such as birds market, books market and drawing and writing selling. You can also try out the mouth watering local snacks served by the food stalls in the fair as your lunch. After the tour, you'll be transferred back to your hotel.
